History

With a goal of providing superior, Christ-centered, education for elementary students, Christ Community Lutheran School opened its doors in 1998.  Christ Community Lutheran School originated because individuals from the Naples area Lutheran churches shared a passion, desire, and heritage for quality Lutheran education.  Christ Community Lutheran School is completing the second year at the new location on Collier Boulevard (951).  At Christ Community Lutheran School, the experienced staff and faculty work closely with parents to help the child, whether in Pre-Kindergarten or Eighth Grade to reach their full potential through attention to the child’s learning style.  The curriculum includes more than textbooks.  Earning trust, growing in responsibility, making decisions, and following through are important goals.  In the classroom and on the playground, as well as in daily devotions and Bible study, teachers and students share the love of Jesus with each other. Philosophy

We believe that each child is a gift of God with abilities and talents waiting to be opened and nurtured.  The philosophy of Christ Community Lutheran School includes the belief that the most important motivation comes from within the student.  The learning process encourages students to consider themselves capable of learning and worthy of being taught.  Students are motivated to educate themselves by learning how to ask questions, organize information, and draw generalizations.

Christ Community is not only committed to quality education, religious education, and spiritual growth, but to the personal development of the student.  Each child is seen as an individual and is encouraged to take his or her place as a Christian in society.  The religious and academic programs offered at Christ Community help each child grow in healthy attitudes and values, and achieve his or her fullest potential.
